Nova Systems Launches New Flight Simulator Course

Nova Systems is pleased to announce their new Introduction to Flight Simulator Evaluation, Qualification and Governance course.

Identifying a gap in the market, Nova Systems has designed the three-day course to support professionals involved in the acquisition, commissioning, qualification and in-service support of civil and military flight simulation training devices.

Steven Robinson Chief Executive Nova Systems Australia & New Zealand said it is rewarding to see the company sharing their wealth of knowledge and expertise to grow and develop the Aerospace industry.

“As a company rich in Aerospace history and with significant experience and expertise in the Capability Assurance of introducing to service complex leading-edge technologies, we are able to offer world-class training development for professionals and military personnel.”

The Flight Simulator course is an addition to Nova Systems already significant training offering supporting professionals and military personnel across the globe. This includes courses on Tactical Data Links, Electronic Warfare, Systems Safety and many more through to certifications delivered through their Registered Training Organisation (Nova Aerospace RTO code 40262) such as Certificate IV in Test and Evaluation.

The course provides the underpinning skills and knowledge for qualifying flight training devices. From regulatory standards and requirements, data analysis methods, qualification test guide design, basic flight dynamics, to the on-going fidelity checking requirements required to maintain regulatory compliance.

On completion of the Flight Simulator Course, students will obtain a credit towards Nova Systems more in-depth Evaluation of Synthetic Training Devices (EoSTD) course. The EoSTD course is recognised by the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority. It satisfies the training requirement contained in CASR Part 60 for personnel conducting initial and recurrent qualification of synthetic training devices.

Nova Systems is known for delivering to their customers training outcomes that leverage their proven skills and experience combined with the best training development practices. Whether it is teaching at a postgraduate level or delivering accredited training to electrical switching workers, the team can tailor their training solutions to meet their customer’s needs.
