The new training aircraft for the Royal Thai Air Force will be flying with Rohde & Schwarz R&S M3AR software defined radios.

Rohde & Schwarz was awarded a contract by RV Connex to deliver R&S M3AR software defined, multiband-capable airborne radios for the Royal Thai Air Force’s (RTAF) new Textron Aviation T-6C Texan II training aircraft, to be called the T-6TH within the RTAF.

“We have a long history of working with the RTAF, having committed ourselves to delivering secure communication solutions that meet national requirements,” Stefan Pleyer, Vice President Application Segment Avionics, Rohde & Schwarz, explains.

“Here, local content and involvement of local industry are key. RV Connex is the national partner and a trusted teammate. With them, we bring commonality and fit for the RTAF’s secure communications. We know our customers and support them as a long-term, reliable partner. RTAF knows, we keep our promises.”

The R&S M3AR multiband, multimode, multirole radios are the solution of choice for the reliable transmission of mission-critical information, whether for jet or propeller aircraft, helicopters or unmanned aerial vehicles.
